Luther on Worship: An Interpretation is unavailable, but you can change that!

In this text, Vilmos Vajta presents a thorough study of Luther’s thoughts on worship. This work provides insights interesting to Lutheran scholars, as well as engaging material relevant to Christian life and worship today.

And worship is the battleground where the works of the devil are destroyed. Christ lives in the believer and acts through him, even as the devil dwells and works through the unbeliever. Man has no free will. He is under authority, either God’s or the devil’s. Worship and idolatry are faith and unbelief in action, for neither faith nor unbelief are ever dormant or idle. They encompass all of man’s life. This is the reason why Luther applied the idea of worship to every phase and province of life.39
